2023 Dodge Hornet Interior

2023 Dodge Hornet Review

The Hornet has been Dodge’s smallest vehicle for a long time, but it’s roughly the same size as its company cousin, the Alfa Romeo Tonale. It’s a surprisingly spacious vehicle, given its small footprint. In a recent Tonale preview, we found that Alfa’s most compact car has enough room in the front and rear to accommodate a 6-foot vehicle. There is also quite a bit of cargo in the back. We expect the same from Hornet. Twenty-seven cubic feet for GT and 22.9 cubic feet for R/T. For reference, the Honda HR-V has one of the largest cargo spaces in its class and divides the difference in the Hornet trim by 24.4 cubic feet.

The Hornet is expensive for a compact SUV but offers a more powerful engine and space than the competition. It also has a sporty interior that sets it apart from the cabins of other budget crossovers. Red stitching accentuates the black interior, and full leather and grippy faux suede upholstery are available. Basic controls are directed towards the driver, giving the Hornet’s place a focused and brutal feel.
